Adoption fees waived for dogs, cats and rabbits in October

New pet owners can welcome a new furry friend into their home without an adoption fee throughout October at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter.

Frank’s Irvine Subaru is sponsoring adoption fees for dogs, cats and rabbits all month through the Pet Project Foundation and Coastal Animal Services Authority.

The promotion comes as the shelter prepares to give its cat room a major makeover. The “Glow-Up Countdown” encourages locals to adopt available cats before the renovation begins.

Rabbit lovers also have several pets awaiting homes, including bonded pair Annika and Vera, as well as Cupid, Campion, Woodstock, Nora and Nikki.

Potential adopters can view available animals and submit rabbit adoption applications at www.petprojectfoundation.org. The San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter is located at 221 Avenida Fabricante in San Clemente. For more information, call 949.492.1617 or email animalservices@scdpanimalshelter.org.
